BSE Computer Science
Julia Douvas is a junior studying computer science with interests in public health and ethics and technology. As a part of her Service Focus internship, Julia was fortunate enough to co-teach an online version of COS126, the Princeton introductory computer science class, to students at the University of Puerto Rico-Mayagüez during the summer following her freshman year. Last year, Julia was a part of the Food and Farming Cohort wherein she and two other students helped create educational materials about nutrition and mental healthcare for Ethos Primary Care, a local primary care practice in New Jersey. This project built on her interest in the intersection between food access, production, and health. This year, she is excited to join and support the work of the Urban Farming and Sustainability Cohort as a junior fellow.
