Matt Lynn is the Assistant Director of the Novogratz Bridge Year Program. He holds a Master of Arts degree in peacebuilding and conflict transformation from the SIT Graduate Institute in Brattleboro, Vermont as well as a Bachelor of Arts in history and religion from Furman University in Greenville, South Carolina. Before joining the Bridge Year team Matt called Bolivia, South America, home for most of the last 14 years. During his time in Bolivia he was a Peace Corps volunteer, and also worked in a variety of other community-development and youth empowerment initiatives. He loves being outdoors in any capacity, and in 2004 he completed a thru-hike of the Appalachian Trail from Maine to Georgia.
